Do you know what to look for when you’re using multiple reference photos as inspiration? How do you maximize the usefulness of your reference photos to create amazing watercolors? There are some things you need to keep in mind as your making your selections of photos and then interpreting them for painting. Here’s what we’ll be working on in October.
Workshop Description:
We welcome autumn by learning how to use multiple reference photos. Yes, if you take multiple photos of your subject and still are confused on how to work with them or combine them — then do join us for October! I will focus this workshop on how I work with photos to capture an autumn landscape of a beautiful salt marsh. I’ll take you step-by-step through the process of photo selection, pre-planning and finally working on an intuitive landscape based on my tonal sketch. I have reworked my curriculum to build in lots of painting time as well as providing demonstrations. You’ll learn a combination of using reference photo techniques and capturing an intuitive brush style.
